Yoshio Terasawa, who honed his skills as a barista in Melbourne, and Yusuke Ishiyama, who gained experience at Nelson Coffee in Sendai, opened this shop in 2017 on the site of a long-established coffee shop. Following Coffee & Eatery, which opened as the second store, the third roastery was attached to the cafe lounge of OF HOTEL. The roasting machine that was chosen because there is a limit to the size that can be installed in the store is a Korean-made Proaster. “The coffee roasted in Portland using this roaster was really delicious. The batch size is small, so you can make changes for each bean, and I like the fact that you can try various things.” Mr. Ishiyama.
