After discovering specialty coffee in Kyoto, Yasuhiro Okamoto went on to visit producing countries and get involved in operating a roastery.He opened his coffee shop in Nishinomiya in 2013 to fulfill his long-held dream of opening his own shop. “I wanted to create a coffee shop that can contribute to the local community. I want people to drink specialty coffee simply and as part of their everyday life.” They don’t offer anything special, but just serve high-quality coffee in everyday cups. For roasting, we use the same fully hot-air Italian Petroncini as the roastery we used before opening. “It’s characterized by a clean taste. It’s roasted to bring out its sweetness, and it’s fruity and has a strong flavor.”
