About Only Roaster (English draft)
Only Roaster is a coffee media platform dedicated exclusively to coffee roasters in Japan.
Rather than simply listing shops, we focus on the people behind the roast — their philosophies, techniques, and the quiet accumulation of daily decisions that shape each cup. We aim to document the stories that exist between green coffee and the final expression in the cup.
Coffee is not defined by origin alone. Even when using the same beans, the final result changes dramatically depending on the roaster’s priorities, sensitivity, and judgment. At Only Roaster, we believe that these differences are what make coffee truly compelling.
